The Östergötland county council trains 47 pre-registration doctors each
year.
Usually, AT in Östergötland comprises a total of 21 months. Programme structure may differ somewhat between the two training centres (Motala hospital/University Hospital in Linköping and Norrköping hospital).
The AT-programmes are are open for admission twice a year, in February/March and August. Interviews are conducted shortly after
the closing date for applications and decisions concerning admission are usually made within two weeks.
