In October 6-8 an Italian and International Workshop was organized by the Emergo Train System Italy with Chairman Stefano Badiali.
The aim of the workshop was to gather professionals from around the world that use Emergo Train System to share experiences and discuss the main training related problems. The workshop started with presentations of the role of ETS in Sweden, Germany, Australia, The Netherlands and Italy. There was also ETS experiences shared from Korea, Japan and Sudan presented by Italian instructors. Other topics during the workshop was roundtable discussions of for example “Has ETS influenced the approach to in/out-hospital disasters?”, “Does ETS sufficiently cover all possible scenarios?” and “Methods of data collection and their use in improving ongoing education?”.
The workshop was popular with representatives from Italy, The Netherlands, Australia, Germany, Kosovo and the ETS Competence centre in Sweden. The last day was located at the GECAV outside Bologna with ETS exercises but also practical activities such as smoke room trial and AMP building for those interested.
