Allmänmedicinskt utbildningscentrum (AMC) (Centre for General Practice and Primary Health Care) is the educational centre for primary health care personel in the county of Östergötland, Sweden. The centre is monitoring the speciality training for residents in general practice&family medicine, as well as the continuing medical education (CME) for GPs and PHC staff in the county. The centre is run by the county council (Landstinget Östergötland), but have several levels of cooperation with the university and the Faculty of Health sciencies in Linköping.

The centre was established in 1992, and has over the years had 50-60 residents employed for the 5 -year speciality training programme in general practice. The programme is coordinated by 3 regional supervisors, one appointed director of AMC. Each resident has a personal trainer/tutor at a selected health care centre. Continuos tutoring is the framework of the programme with educational goals decided by the national society of general practice (SFAM).

The CME programme consists of courses and seminars and work in CME-groups. Each cathegory of PHC personel (GPs, nurses, assistant nurses, secretaries, fysiotherapists, occupational therapists) has their own CME-coordinator in each of the three health care districts.
